eyes of Christ
Spiritual “eyes” in us which see with true perception; the “eyes” through which our true Self perceives. The eyes of Christ see a different world than our physical eyes see. They look past bodies and see the light of holiness. They look past sin and see the face of Christ. They look past the world and see the real world. The eyes of Christ are not just receptors, but also givers. They bless, and thus deliver miracles to everything they look upon (see CE W-WI.13.3:2). By using them to see an innocent world, we will ultimately see our own innocence. Called “the spiritual eye” in the early dictation of the Course.
