way
Often used in the generic sense of “manner,” “fashion,” or “method.” But often used to mean a path or course along which one travels to a destination. In this sense, it can refer to the ego’s way, which leads nowhere, but most often refers to the Holy Spirit’s way, which leads to God. For instance, “Love is the way I walk in gratitude” (CE W-195) does not mean “Love is the manner in which I walk.” Instead, it means “Love is the pathway I walk, and I do so in gratitude.”
