Robert Perry
Lead Teacher and Founder
Robert Perry brings to A Course in Miracles many years of private study and public teaching. He began teaching at Miracle Distribution Center in 1986, and has since taught throughout North America and around the world. His teaching grows out of his dedication to the Course as his own path and his desire to assist others on this path. Over the years he has become a respected voice in Course circles and has written for many Course newsletters and magazines. Robert is the founder of the Circle of Atonement and the author of numerous books and booklets based on the Course. Among these are the popular An Introduction to A Course in Miracles and Path of Light: Stepping into Peace with A Course in Miracles. He is also the lead editor of the Complete and Annotated Edition (CE) of A Course in Miracles, based on the original handwritten notes of Helen Schucman.

Mary Anne Buchowski
Teacher
Mary Anne Buchowski is a long-time Circle teacher who has been associated with the Circle from its beginnings. She spent several years working for the Circle in Sedona, fulfilling administrative, programming, and teaching duties, while being trained as a teacher and mentored by Robert. In 2004, she returned home to Ottawa, Canada and founded, with her husband James Gregory, Course Oasis, the Circle’s first satellite organization. Mary Anne is responsible for the Circle’s Teacher-of-Pupils Training Program and study group leader training and support. She works and teaches from her home base in Ottawa.
Emily Bennington Perry
Executive Director
Emily Bennington Perry is executive director of the Circle of Atonement where she is responsible for all aspects of advancing the mission. Her dedication to A Course in Miracles comes from the extraordinary changes in her own life as a result of applying its teachings. Prior to joining the Circle, Emily led training programs on spiritual intelligence and mindful leadership for numerous Fortune 500 companies. She is also the author of three books, including Miracles at Work: Turning Inner Guidance into Outer Influence, which features a foreword by her friend Marianne Williamson.
Sarah Knight
Administrative Director
Sarah Knight joined us in 2020 to run the Circle’s social media, and help manage our marketing planning and content. In 2022 she moved into the role of Administrative Director, with responsibility for the Circle Team and the delivery of key projects including the ACIM CE App. She also helps to coordinate a valued group of volunteers from around the world. Sarah has been a member of Course Companions since 2018 and leads a CE study group in the UK, where she lives.
Jacqueline Ramsey
Logistics Manager
Jacqueline Ramsey is the logistics manager for the Circle of Atonement. She has been a student of the Course since 2001 and started with the Circle, and Course Companions, as a student in 2017. She is now also a study group leader. Jacquie is a Reiki teacher and practitioner who has committed herself to helping others in pain learn the secret art to inviting happiness. She has written two books, magazine articles, and co-founded and ran numerous Reiki conferences in the USA and Canada. You can find more detailed information on her website.
James Gregory
Executive Teaching Assistant
James Gregory been associated with the Circle since 2000. He spent several years working for the Circle in Sedona, fulfilling administrative duties. In 2004, he returned home to Ottawa, Canada where he helped found Course Oasis, the Circle’s first satellite organization. James is married to Mary Anne Buchowski and is her Executive Teaching Assistant (ETA) as well as her pupil. He is a very good ETA, but not a very good pupil.
Avonie Brown-Reaves
Community Manager
Avonie Brown-Reaves joined Course Companions soon after being introduced to A Course in Miracles in 2018. As the Community Manager, she is responsible for Circle News and working with the Social Media Manager to communicate with the community about our available programs and resources. As part of the Volunteer Coordination team, she helps to facilitate the assistance of our wonderful volunteers in support of the Circle’s projects. Her commitment to helping grow, nurture, and support the community of Course students is equally important.
