As a small non-profit organization, we rely on a diverse team of volunteers who have various skills and expertise with which to help us extend the message of A Course in Miracles. Our volunteers contribute to a wide range of projects, from behind the scenes jobs like app testing, website updates and editing, to more visible initiatives such as helping in our community as Community Champions, or running our Story Project. We really couldn’t do everything we do without our wonderful team and we are so grateful for every single volunteer contribution, whether it’s a couple of hours a month or several hours a week.
As the Circle’s Volunteer Coordinators, it’s our hope to make projects available to suit the skills and availability of all those who offer to help. The majority of those who answer our volunteer survey say they have benefited from the Circle’s teaching of A Course in Miracles and wanted to give something back, but there are many other reasons that people choose to offer their valuable time and effort, such as gaining experience between jobs, or keeping active in retirement.
As well as having access to the volunteer area of our community platform where they can interact with one another, volunteers are invited to attend monthly Friends of the Circle meetings so they can keep up with the latest developments within the organisation as a whole.
If volunteering with the Circle of Atonement is of interest to you, we would love to hear from you via the Volunteer Application Form.
After you have submitted your application, one of us will get back to you to give you an idea of existing or upcoming volunteer opportunities that may be suitable. In the meantime, you can learn more about what we expect from our volunteers and what you can expect from us, in our Volunteer Handbook.
Thank you for your interest in the Circle’s volunteer team! If we can be of further assistance please don’t hesitate to reach out.
With love,
Avonie & Sarah

VOLUNTEER FEEDBACK:
“Volunteering for the Circle ends up being a joy! Two wonderful reasons are giving back what has so freely been given and interacting with like-minded people. Win-win all around!” – Jennifer Sheehan, USA
“Working for the Circle as a volunteer is for me a way to somehow give back and thank all that I receive from them, as they are helping me so much to understand and apply the Course. At the same time, to meet other volunteers, work with them, share experiences, and grow together is another present that I am receiving.” – Miguel Carrera Troyano, Spain
