2019 Year-End Update
Friends,
As 2019 draws to a close, we’d like to give you an update on our activities and share what we have planned for the weeks and months ahead.
At the heart of our work here at the Circle is a belief that the Course is Jesus’ second attempt to inject his message of unconditional love into global consciousness, and this makes the Course a very significant phenomenon indeed. Accordingly, we believe the Course needs to have a large and influential life in the world, but, along with this, it must have a public life that reflects its actual nature.
Honoring the Course as it is remains the Circle’s strength and the reason we exist. Over the past 26 years, this has been the basis for our work, which has included 500+ articles, 20 books and booklets, programs such as Course Companions, and the Complete and Annotated Edition (CE) of A Course in Miracles.
This year, we have continued to focus on strengthening this foundation, most notably through:
- Completion of our new website
- Completion of our new online bookstore
- A visioning process that has resulted in a new purpose statement, organizational values, and a strategic plan for going forward.
We have also devoted ourselves to reaching out more broadly and intentionally, especially through:
- Program improvements for our Course Companions community
- A comprehensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) project
- A Gift of Miracles donor match campaign where 100 students in need are receiving a complimentary copy of the Course.
We will be sharing updates on the visioning process and SEO project soon. In the meantime, here are some other projects we are working on for 2020:
- Relaunching the Circle’s newsletter, A Better Way, as a beautifully designed monthly publication
- Relaunching our bi-weekly podcast, which has been renamed Exploring A Course in Miracles
- Hosting Sunday Gatherings as an opportunity for our Course Companions community to connect and explore the material together.
Your support of the Circle makes all of this possible. If you feel called to contribute to this work, we will gladly welcome any financial gift as well as the gift of your volunteer time.

On behalf of all of us at the Circle––Board, staff, and volunteers––I thank you for being a member of this community and helping to carry the Course’s light into the world. We send you our kindest wishes for a blessed holiday season.
Love,
Emily Bennington
